About A. A. Dhand
A A Dhand, born in April 1979, is a British crime-writer known for his novels set in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Raised in a family of immigrant shop owners, he was educated at Fulneck School and graduated with a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Bradford in 2002. Dhand initially worked as a pharmacist in London before returning to Bradford to start his own pharmacy business and pursue a writing career. His early works included a novel set against the backdrop of the Partition of India and Pakistan, but he gained significant acclaim with his series featuring police detective Harry Virdee.
